7. May: Wendy Ann Mansilla – Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering
Wendy Ann Mansilla has submitted her thesis entitled:
« Aesthetic Quality of Experience and Implicit Modulating Factors»
in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Ph. D. (Elelctronics and Telecommunications) at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, NTNU.
The following commitee has been appointed to evaluate her thesis, trial lecture and defence:

Professor Maria Letizia Jaccheri, Department of Computer and Information Science, NTNU, has been appointed as the administrator of the assessment committee.
The trial lecture will take place in Rådssalen, Main Building, Gløshaugen, Tuesday 7. May 2013 from 10:15 on the given topic:
“Designing Interactive Electronics for Public Spaces”
The defence will take place in Rådssalen, Main Building, Gløshaugen, Tuesday 7. May 2013 from 13:15.
The trial lecture and defense are public and anyone interested is invited to attend.
Wendy Ann Mansilla carried out her PhD work at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications NTNU. Her main supervisor has been Professor Andrew Perkis.
Wendy Ann Mansillas thesis is based on two electronic art installations; Chroma Space and Candy. The work on these installations is carried out at the Sense-IT lab at Q2S – Centre for Quantifiable Quality of Service in Communication Systems, a Norwegian Centre of Excellence at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. Q2S is appointed by the Research Council of Norway and funded by the Research Council, NTNU and UNINETT. In Sense-IT we explore the intersection of art and technology through several installations. Candy, Chromaspace, Networked decollage and A-me our research in QoE and art related activities.
Chroma Space and Candy will be exibited in Sense-IT laboratory on Monday May 6 from 14-16.
Sense-IT is in Electro block E2 East.
