I am reading this book, by Cinzia Arruzza, Tithi Bhattacharya, and Nancy Fraser and I understand that for 30 years I have been working to help the 1% of the 1%. Computer scientists are 1% of the population, and I have been working with the 1% who are already privileged. Reading this book I understand that breaking the glass ceiling is not feminism, and it is not good for those who break the ceiling at especially not good for the 99% who do not even look at the ceiling, they look at the floor they are cleaning.

This book connects feminism to capitalism, racism, and environment. It is very interesting, and as always, when I learn something, I wonder why it took so long time for me to learn.
