Our wish of cooperation between ADA and IDUN is not only improved gender balance at all level from High School to Bachelor and Master, and from PhD to Professor but also, and may be most important, an increased mutual understanding between Norwegian students and foreign researchers for the benefit of education and research. As a department head, I have heard Norwegian students complaining about International assistants. As foreigner, I have heard foreigners complain about Norwegian. If we work together, we find out that we do not have anything to complain about.
