Opening for Session 1A WSTEM: Women & STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

My name is Letizia Jaccheri and I am a professor in Computer Science. I have been hearing about the gender gap in CS since I first met professor Reidar Conradi in 1989. But until 2013 I have been busy with my own career and not least with my own life and it was only in late 2013 that I started to take responsibility. Leadership is about seeing other people rather than self and aiming to lift them up.
